Social Media Manager (Academic Credit/ Volunteer)
Remote | 8–10 hours per week | Semester-based
The Movement Street is seeking a Social Media Manager to support our digital storytelling and community engagement efforts. This role is ideal for a student or emerging communications professional who wants hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, brand voice development, and mission-driven campaigns.
You will help translate real-world community impact into engaging online content that mobilizes volunteers, highlights partnerships, and amplifies our programs.
This role is a great fit for someone who:
Is passionate about community service, storytelling, and social impact
Enjoys creating content for platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn
Wants real-world experience in communications, marketing, or nonprofit work
Is organized, creative, and able to work independently
